It was around grade 8 when I learned HTML in school and I was so exited to learn HTML. But then when I asked my teacher when can we create a website like google she did not respond properly.
This made me very sad as I thought we would be building a website but unfortunately came to know that HTML was just language to create webpages and not for building websites.
I started researching about how to create a website in several ways. I came to know that only there were free subdomains for hosting which seemed lengthy and ugly. Also the free hosting plans was not that great.
Soon I realized that there was this one website called freenom which provided free domains for an year. With this I created a free domain with free hosting and hosted my first website.
But came to know that the free hosting plans were of no use and they would go down and up without any reason. In this way I came to know that most of the things related to a creating a website was paid.
Finally after 12th, I came to take a decision where I planned to buy an amazon server to host my website. The only problem at this point was that I was using a freenom domain which is not that safe and reliable.
So I bought a domain name prgmine.com on GoDaddy platform. Now creating a website that ain’t an easy task. As this is my first commercial website there was several things I had to learn.
There was many policies which I had to go through for monetizing my website in order to get ad revenue. Some of them were creating pages like privacy policy and terms & conditions.
